Fraser Laser (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides personalised laser-engraved books and associated digital services (collectively, “Products”). These products are designed for events such as memorials, weddings, and work farewells.

2. Use of Our Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not use our website in any way that is fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to us is accurate and current.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property or the property of our content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or otherwise exploit any portion of this website without our express written consent.

4. Product and Service Descriptions

We strive to be as accurate as possible in the descriptions of our Products. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. The nature of laser engraving on natural materials like wood means that minor variations in grain, colour, and texture are to be expected and are not considered defects.

5. User-Generated Content (Farewell/Tribute Messages & Photos)

  • You are solely responsible for any text, photos, or other content you upload to our platform.
  • By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for the sole purpose of creating the personalised Product.
  • You agree not to upload any content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise injurious to third parties.

6. Payment Policy

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment via PayPal and Direct Bank Deposit. Full payment is required before we begin the personalisation and engraving process.
  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice.
  • Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation. This email constitutes the acceptance of your order. It is your responsibility to review the order confirmation and notify us immediately of any errors.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We will ship the finished product to the address you provide during checkout. While we aim to meet estimated delivery times, we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers or factors beyond our control.

8. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund policy is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • No Refunds for Change of Mind: Due to the highly personalised and custom nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Once an order is placed and work has commenced, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Faulty or Defective Products: We are committed to providing high-quality products. If the product you receive is faulty, has been damaged in transit, or does not match the description and proof you approved, you are entitled to a remedy.
    • A “major failure” includes a product that is significantly different from the description or has a defect that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known. In the case of a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund.
    • For a “minor failure,” we will offer to repair or replace the item at our discretion, within a reasonable time.
  • Process for Reporting an Issue: You must notify us at hello@https://www.google.com/search?q=fraserlaser.com.au within 7 days of receiving your product if you believe it is faulty or damaged. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographic evidence. We reserve the right to assess the condition of the returned item before providing a remedy.
  • Errors in Personalisation: We will provide a digital proof of the engraved messages for your approval before production begins. The final product will be created based on this approved proof. We are not responsible for errors (such as spelling mistakes) that were present in the proof you approved. It is crucial that you review your proof carefully.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fraser Laser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

11. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
